Gravel Agency is proud to welcome Boito among his brands portfolio.

One day in 1921, João Boito, an Italian immigrant, living in the mountain town of Alfredo Chaves (now Veranópolis, Rio Grande do Sul) decided to hand-make a hunting rifle for his hobbies. At that moment, he pulled the trigger that gave the right shot in the future: Boito was born.

In 1955, Elias Ruas Amantino joined the Boito family and began serial production of hunting rifles on June 22. But if the creation of ERAmantino & Cia. Ltda. was a coincidence, his dizzying growth was not.

It is the result of the will and the talent of a group which set itself modern industrial objectives, producing here a shotgun of international renown. In 1962, the first parallel barreled hunting rifle left the factory. Ten years later, it was time for the first Boito over-and-under shotgun to see the light of day. Until today, it is still the only one made in South America.

Today, it serves several market segments for sporting weapon parts, agricultural and road tools, textile and footwear machinery, valves and fittings, among others, as well as alloy casting. steel.

Today, Boito has a team of more than three hundred experts and professionals. This team, which designs, develops all the delicate and precise mechanism of a Boito rifle. But all this know-how and all this sophisticated equipment did not take Boito away from its roots. Therefore, whenever the company's story is told, it is essential to remember the words of Elias Ruas Amantino:

"We do not manufacture weapons to kill people, but rather, to be in contact with nature, respect its cycles and its preservation."
